I've been trying to find a diagram or measurements for what thermal pads are needed to replace the stock ones on a gigabyte 3090 aorus xtreme. I test the vram temperatures both before and after replacement while mining. So it seems like gigabyte really did save money on thermal components.

Asus rtx 3090 rog strix: Cooling is fine honestly just loud as expected but it handles all 350w just fine. So you need 2mm and 3mm pads.
The Gains, If Any Are Minimal.
I just replaced mine with all 1mm cause i didn't have.5 and i could smell the silicone leaking. Even the watercooled aorus has this problem. There are several threads but with different info, some are saying use 1.5mm and 2mm whereas others are saying to use 2mm and 3mm.
